I offer clients a safe, non-judgmental, and interactive space to work through personal issues, problems, and life dilemmas. I believe there are times when it is essential to look beyond our usual support systems and find a consistent, supportive environment to address questions about oneself and develop balance in our lives.

Therapy is an opportunity for growth; a chance to feel less stuck and overwhelmed. I will collaborate with you to identify goals and explore challenges to achieving relief both within yourself and in your relationships with others. Together, we will recognize your strengths, discover your resilience and flexibility, and develop a more integrated and authentic self.

I can assist with anxiety, stress, depression, trauma, relationship problems, work concerns, parenting issues, and life transitions, among other challenges. I help individuals, couples, and families find resolutions, expand awareness, communicate more effectively, and understand the connections between the roots of their issues and their daily lives.

An Interpersonal Neurobiological Approach to Psychotherapy

Psychotherapy is a process in which you can connect with and discover new ways to understand yourself and your relationships with others. In our work together, I aim to bring awareness to the interaction between the biological, psychological, and social aspects of your experience. This means we may consider not only what you think and say but also how you experience yourself in the world and in your own body.

A psycho-neurobiological perspective in psychotherapy is an interdisciplinary approach that integrates research and theory from multiple fields of study, blending psychotherapy with modern science. This perspective offers an understanding of how the experience-dependent brain is shaped by relational and environmental experiences. It marks a connection between early experiences, affect regulation, attachments, physical and psychological development, and overall mind and body wellness throughout life.

This biopsychosocial perspective informs an interpersonal neurobiological approach to psychotherapy, highlighting the interplay of biological, psychological, social, and cultural factors that contribute to the development of the self. Neurobiologically informed psychotherapy emphasizes the implicit relational and affective exchanges within the intersubjective context of therapy as a mechanism of change.
